Creativity has no barriers. Irrespective of the industry, everything new/refurbished/ classic, or something at random can be a trend if the audience/customers like it. However, to be creative, you need inspiration. Anything and everything around you can be an inspiration. A mere snap of a butterfly’s wing to a 100-year-old monument can be an inspiration. How this inspiration is brought to life depends upon the individual. More than a century ago, we at Obeetee set out to preserve the art of hand-making carpets. What inspired us to do so was the rich heritage and traditions that were deep-rooted in our country. Today, we stand as one of the largest rug makers in the world. From adding life to homes via our rugs across the globe, we now aim to transform every home into an Obeetee home. Yes, as of September 2025, we are officially Obeetee Carpets and Home.
One of the many reasons for our success in the industry is our design philosophy and our morals. Actually, it is both. Both these aspects remained unchanged, irrespective of market conditions (inflation), social media trends, etc. We only evolved. As the world moved towards modernization, we not only did our part to reduce the global warming levels through sustainability initiatives but concentrated more on expanding the community of our weavers. From solar energy to wastewater recycling, we have successfully reduced our share of the carbon footprint. While our processes keep evolving, the manufacturing processes remain the same. Every product from our house is handmade with pride and hand-made with experience.
Timeless. That is the design and the crafting technique that we follow. Our idea is to create something that lasts for generations in terms of strength, product quality, and design. Something that is inspired by deep-rooted traditions of the past can be part of the present and last even in the future. What drives the ideology of ‘ timelessness’ is the customer-driven approach that Obeetee has always followed. Carpets and other home decor accessories can be a toll on your pocket.
